Yet another bad tuning hammer manipulation technique.

This gentleman is wrenching the tuning hammer which will loosen the tuning pins.

Holding the tuning lever at 4 o’clock is not good either.

i’ve just started playing again after about 7 years. I believe we bought my Yamaha upright piano about.. 10years ago. I’ve noticed that starting from the keys around the middle C to the left side of the piano, the sound doesnt linger when you take your hands off the keys. probably needs to be tuned?

how often are you supposed to tune your piano? and how much is the price range in the denver area?
