What does ‘repegging’ mean in relation to piano repair/tuning?

I’m getting a used piano (craigslist acquisition) and was told that half of it has been re-pegged and the other half will probably need to be repegged in the future. What does this mean and how much could this possibly cost? Thank you!

Is there anywhere to buy Yamaha piano parts?

I have a Yamaha U3 piano and I want to replace some parts by myself, such as the pads on the hammers inside the piano, and the wires/strings (whatever you want to call them). Then, after the customization is finished, I also want to attempt to tune the piano myself (sharpness/flatness of the notes isn’t an issue here.)

Now the question itself: do you guys know where I can get the tools for customizing the piano itself, the parts, and the tools for tuning the piano? I live around the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) in Canada, and I would appreciate it if anybody could tell me if the parts or tools are available for sale anywhere.
